Trizanne Signature Wines is the unique boutique winery of South African woman winemaker Trizanne Barnard.

The mother of two boys, a passionate surfer and environmentalist, Trizanne graduated from Stellenbosch University with a degree in Viticulture and Oenology. After working multiple vintages in Australia, France and Portugal, she returned to her native South Africa and joined the winemaking team at Klein Constantia winery. In 2004, she was offered the opportunity of launching Anwilka wines in conjunction with Klein Constantia and leading Bordeaux winemakers. Four invaluable years at Anwilka, along with her international experience, gave her the confidence to start her own brand, and in 2008 Trizanne Signature Wines was born.

Trizanne is intrigued by the two quite diverse South African wine regions: The cool climate Cape South Coast where she sources her fruit from small vineyards, hidden gems that reflect the unique terroir, and the Swartland, which brings her perfectly cultivated grapes from low-yielding and dry-farmed vineyard parcels.

The winery and Trizanne's direction and success comes from her belief and endurance. Creating a brand and establishing a business is rarely a solo endeavor, and TSW is no different. Key role players behind the scenes – her family, friends, and work team – have helped shape Trizanne Signature Wines into what it is today.
